    He migrated to Victoria ca 1855. Later a draper and a librarian.

    His death certificate reports 8 unnamed children and birthplace Ayrshire (informant a policeman). His wife's death certificate only names 5 children.

    She and her sister Jessie have been attributed by a researcher to John Cameron, above. No birth records have been found, but the timing and business association appear to favour them as children of Angus (giving James Stevens rather loosely as a nephew of William above)
