    He came to Sydney 1840 with his brother Colin, to Qld 1841/2 to found Kilcoy station near Ipswich, then a boiling down works in Brisbane 1844. Sold up and returned to Scotland to marry and to succeed his father in the baronetcy and the unentailed estates.
    He was again at Kilcoy station in February 1845 (ref. Diary of his cousin, D. C. Cameron)
