In partnership with Robert Peel Raymond and George Roxburgh as Raymond and Co. (1860) or Raymond Roxburgh and Co (1861) in Sydney. Probably listed as Woolmonger, 133 Bourke St in 1861 Sands directory. Business called Raymond Cameron and Co in Ipswich 1861
Noted to have property at Ipswich in 1860/61. The firm apparently failed in 1861, when he was running the Ipswich branch. His personal assets were furniture, buggy, harness and 2 horses and a life insurance policy of £1000. A debtor was Alfred G. Cameron of Redfern for £200.
In 1862 he was owed £125 by John Cameron, Merchant of Sydney (John1). He is known to have taken an insurance policy with AMP in 1860 for £2000.
