  Notes	Lieut in Loudon's Highlanders. He is said by Campbell researchers to have been unmarried, and to have died 1751, before his brother Colin. He is also said to be second son, likely with the name Alexander. Burke's Peerage states he was born 1729, died 1822, and married 1770 Elizabeth Sutherland, with issue Hugh, Kenneth, Norman and Donald Campbell. These dates are incompatible with the McIntyre/Campbell history.
