Dau. of Donald Drochaid MacDonald (1744-1805) and Mary MacDonald (1744-1810); and sister of Donald MacDonald, the father of Flora MacDonald, mother of Mary MacKillop. Thus she was great aunt of Saint Mary MacKillop (Ref. Joanne Cameron, NZ) - see Saor

She was living at Ardachy with son Alexander in 1841.
