  1. 1.  Catherine Cameron was born in ca 1834 in Kilmallie (daughter of Allan Cameron, of Clunes and Mary Cameron); died on 28 Mar 1908 in Sanquhar, Dumfries.

    Notes:

    "She came to visit her uncles and aunt" (Donald Cameron, Isabella Cameron his sister and her husband William Campbell) and left for Scotland when widowed.

    Aged 45 at 1881 census, Fort William. She died at the home of her daughter, Grace Murray, British Linen Bank, Sanquhar

    Catherine married Angus Macintyre on 24 May 1854 in North Melbourne. Angus was born in ca 1824; died in 1864 in Kulkyne Station, Vic. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    1. Donald Macintyre was born in 1855 in Melbourne.

    4. John Cameron Macintyre was born in 1861 in Melbourne.
    5. Prof. Ronald George Macintyre, OBE, CMG was born in 1863 in Melbourne; died on 22 Jun 1954 in Sydney.

  1. 2.  Allan Cameron, of Clunes was born in 1781 (son of Donald Cameron, of Clunes and Mary Grant); died on 13 Apr 1841.

    Notes:

    Capt. in 79th Regiment, half pay from 1808, Paymaster from 1821 to 1824, later half paymaster 5th Foot
    His will dated 27 Nov 1837 gave half his estate, valued at about £330 to his eldest son John, joint tenant in the lease of Clunes and £50 each to his natural daughters Isabella, Janet and Catherine, below
