    Notes:

Labourer, Carpenter, Builder. Arrival details unknown - it has been suggested by several researchers that he is the Alexander Cameron, convict per Asia in 1820 - see Strays, ID I80952. There is no proof of such a connection.

NSW State Records, 6/3535, No. 1525, Curator of Intestate Estates; 9/6388 (1854), Attorney General. Ref Noel D. Cameron.
These files and other records show that Alexander Cameron was murdered at "Tiara" near Walcha.

Subsequent Probate papers (1871) gave an erroneous date of death as 12 Feb 1850, previously noted. Marriage record states he was 29 in 1836, Trial record suggests 44 in 1854.

At the time of his death he had some £140 in cash and a good number of cattle and horses. It took many years to settle his estate, by then much diminished.

Note he was called Angus Alexander Cameron in one later record, apparently in error.
